Why? This question has been brought up to Ford many times. Theres a span of a number of years that RH and LH basic numbers were cataloged incorrectly by Ford when that new part number was launched. And even Ford admits there are around 5,000 part numbers out there that do not follow tradition (not just RH and LH). The problem is that these numbers are now out on the dealers shelves, so if they were corrected, it would cause a whole new set of confusion. In the end, Microcat has no influence over these types of changes. And now for my broken record answer -- We publish the data provided to us from Ford. Its correct, just not traditional.
