Topic: thanks again, catalog error
Posted: Tuesday, March 09, 2010 12:36:29 AM
There are many things left out of catalog into,, 07 Expitidion when you look up a 14028 a which is a power Lock
Switch.. I know that, Ford know's that.. But Micro cat calls is a switch, doesn't say for what?? My point is how is a
younger inexpearenced parts person supose to Know??

Catalog info for 09 & 2010 F150 Headlamps asy, ( 13008) Microcat doesn't tell which is RH or LH.. Ford has been
playing games with Part numbers & we cannot afford to Assume which is LH or RH. We want in Writing.......

The way it is currantly set up to find a 14s411 Base number in the Gcat system is a cluster. Nothing more than a
seek & guess method, it's very unproductive. Not sure whethers it's a Ford Issue or Microcat, but what I do know
is there has to be a better way.......

Error in cataloging still...
Microcat lists
1C3Z17B984AA r/h mounting plate ( Correct Listing )
&
1C3Z17B984AACP l/h mounting plate ( Wrong Listing )

The correct Number for the l/h plate is

1C3Z17B985AA l/h Mounting plate..

Today I tried looking up starter mounting bolts for a 1997 F150 4x4 with a 4.6
& automatic transmission.. Everywhere I looked I came up with nothing..

The Ford catalog & Snapon has these bolts & a party replied to my request
rather fast with good number,,, So there must be a trick that I don't know
How do we find items like this??

Thanks Randy

Topic: Part listing Ford 6619 99/F250 SD

Xea80679 .. M/Cat show's 4 numbers listed but not the correct one if your looking for the 6619 with the
screen filter. The YC3Z-6619-BA isn't in the application, so I added a note. This should be corrected, it's
in other vendor catalogs..
