Since our last update when we tried to print from microcat we get an error message. It looks as if print32.exe is no longer found in C:\MCFNA\Print32 folder. By copying this file from an old hard drive we are printing again. This was on all our workstations.

I received a letter today from R&R stating they are going to charge a $250.00 one time charge and a $40.00 per month fee for integration between Microcat and R&R. Is there a work around for this or are we going to be forced to pay??? What will be next, a fee to copy and paste a VIN #?? Could someone from Microcat could tell me exactly what will happen if we do not pay?? I would sure like to know!

How do I get on the mailing list to be notified when a patch is available? I see people on FMC Dealer saying they are notified but I have never been.

Just do a search for mcnotes.dat and you should find where the folder is. (click start button then search)

I have heard rumors that a new version is in the works but IFM seems to be holding back any information about it. Hopefully this and some other annoying quirks are corrected. Roy

We see the same problem here. For a band-aid fix I close Microcat, press control, alt and delete keys to bring up windows task manager. Then click on processes tab, highlight wowexec.exe then click on end process. This seems to fix it for a while but the problem will return. Otherwise it takes a pc reboot to clear it.
